We've had a lot of exciting stuff happen this month, and as we continue to grow as a community, we will have much more to come. However the biggest achievement by far we've had this month was our official granting of our 501(c)(3) status. What this means is we are now officially recognized as a nonprofit organization, which further legitimizes us, and will enable us to coordinate with other organizations to serve a wider community. Organization News: We have successfully filed for our 501(c)(3) status, which is now in the processing stage. We cannot guarantee a swift resolution on this status, as the present application timeline is approximately 6 months, however we are using that time to prioritize other resources and build up our internal organization structure.
