December 2025 Update

We've had a lot of exciting stuff happen this month, and as we continue to grow as a community, we will have much more to come. However the biggest achievement by far we've had this month was our official granting of our 501(c)(3) status.

What this means is we are now officially recognized as a nonprofit organization, which further legitimizes us, and will enable us to coordinate with other organizations to serve a wider community. This is a huge win for us, and we are so excited about it!

We have also been receiving queries from the press and have been recognized in our first news article, which is also exciting! As we continue to get our name out there, we'll be able to coordinate more programs and community members, which will widen our network and allow us to be more helpful to our current community.

We also celebrated our first holiday event, with our Friendsgiving Celebration on November 25th! It was lovely to see so many friendly faces, and with one event under our belt, we look forward to holding many more.
